John M. Caron is an experienced litigation attorney who has been representing clients in toxic tort, products liability, and professional liability matters since 1987. Mr. Caron is tenacious, determined, and genuinely concerned for his clients.
Mr. Caron graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana in 1984, completing his undergraduate curriculum in three years. From 1985 to 1987, Mr. Caron attended Southwestern University School of Law located in Los Angeles, California. As part of an accelerated program emphasizing application of legal theories to practical skills which accepts less than 50 students per year (Southwestern's Conceptual Approach to Legal Education Program, or S.C.A.L.E.), Mr. Caron was able to complete his law degree in just two years. Mr. Caron also served as an editor for Southwestern's Law Review.
Mr. Caron began his legal career working at a large Los Angeles defense law firm where he became one of the firm's youngest partners at age 28. In his work defending clients in products liability and professional liability matters, Mr. Caron succeeded in consistently obtaining outstanding results through trial, arbitration, and mediation.
Mr. Caron joined the Law Office of Roger G. Worthington in 2005 where he concentrated his practice on the representation toxic tort victims. He became a partner with the firm in 2007. The in-depth, behind-the-scenes understanding of how insurance companies evaluate and settle tort cases which Mr. Caron gained as a defense attorney has proven invaluable to the firm's representation of toxic tort clients.
Mr. Caron is a frequent speaker and contributor to Veterans and Union meetings where he seeks to advance awareness of asbestos disease and the rights of affected families. Mr. Caron is also devoted to the cause of raising funds to find a cure for asbestos cancers.
